This past February, I took the bus from D.C. up to New York for the weekend to photograph a show for Fashion Week. I was lucky enough to bring along one of my closest friends who lives in the city. We visited a few thrift stores in the East Village and then had lunch at an authentic Greek Restaurant. Then off we were to Sony Hall, right in the heart of Times Square. Between the designers and the other photographers- you could feel the pure creative energy walking down the runway. It was inspiring to be around that much talent and mind-blowing how every outfit was hand-designed by the artist. Seeing all that creativity in one place reminded me why I love photography in the first place.
